A: Bitstream passes through the full digital audio signal and allows for the converter/display to process the audio locally. 2CH will force the source to send a 2 Channel audio signal to the converter and the TV and the unit will only extract 2 channel stereo audio from the source. When the unit is set to TV, it will copy the audio capabilities of the connected Television display and send that out through the Optical Audio/Toslink Connection.
